Artists Statement
Kylie is an abstract artist from the Gold Coast. Her abstract works look to capture the everyday Australian landscape in an emotive and textured manner.
“I specialise in medium to large scale mixed media abstract landscapes. I use lots of different mediums and heavy textures to bring out the best in my work. I love to showcase the more grittier, the more raw aspect of the Australian landscape. The substrate of the terrain. The way my art feels to touch is also an important element to my work and one that is appreciated when viewing these artworks in person”.
Kylie’s works have been displayed in several ArtLovers Exhibitions, Gold Coast and Melbourne Galleries, and appeared in Grand Designs Australia Magazine 2022, as well as featured in ArtEdit Magazine 2022.
THE BLOCK 2023: One of Kylie’s stunning big artworks was selected by Steph & Gian for their master bedroom reveal. This room went on to win Room of The Week with the public commenting it could very well be the best master bedroom in Block history. This was an incredible moment for Kylie in her creative career.
This year 2024, Kylie has thrown herself into being a full time Artist. Kylie is now very busy keeping up with the demands of being a professional artist.
