Artists Statement
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From an early age I showed an interest and an inclination for the arts and dance. At the age of 13, I was accepted to study at the Manuel Belgrano National School of Fine Arts where I studied and immersed myself in the world of art. Following my studies, I was swept up by dance and spent more than two decades in the professional world of Tango.
What drives me as an artist is freedom of expression; being able to show the sensitivity, harmony and nostalgia that I have experienced through both dance and art. I consider my artworks a passage of great transparency that is born from deep within.
Many of my works start from the idea of a colour, determining the spirit that the work will have. I then create the composition, using lines to mark directions and plane spaces to support the principal idea.
