Multi award winning Pat Hall graduated with a BA Hons in Graphic Design from Brighton University in England, she went on to become an illustrator when she arrived in Brisbane in 1991. This developed her love of painting which she has nurtured ever since. Pat is keen gardener and her paintings are inspired by the textures, colours and dazzling sunlight of Australian gardens and bushland. She floods her stretched paper canvases with colour before sealing them in UV stabilized and waterproof coating. The images remain vibrant and accessible without being hidden behind glass; breathing new life into the medium.
